Frequently Asked Questions
Our rallies are open to vintage and classic cars manufactured before 1980. Each vehicle is expected to reflect the spirit of the era and be suitable for long-distance driving across diverse routes.
Heritage Rally is open to classic car enthusiasts who share a passion for driving, discovery, and refined travel. Whether you are an experienced rally participant or joining a classic car rally for the first time, our carefully curated format ensures an enjoyable and accessible experience for all. Drivers are welcome to participate with a co-driver, partner, or friend.
Daily stages are designed to be enjoyable rather than exhausting. Routes are carefully planned to favor scenic secondary roads over main highways, allowing participants to truly experience the landscape and character of each region. This approach can make certain stages more engaging and immersive, while still remaining well balanced in terms of distance and pace.
Regular breaks, lunch stops, and cultural visits ensure a relaxed rhythm throughout the day. For those who may feel tired at any point, alternative routes using main roads are always available, allowing participants to rejoin the group comfortably and at their own pace.
Yes. Every Heritage Rally is supported by a dedicated technical and medical team. Depending on the number of participants 1-4 professional mechanics accompany the rally, all with extensive experience in international classic car events. In addition, an emergency doctor travels with the group, equipped to provide immediate first aid whenever needed.
If a vehicle experiences an unexpected breakdown that cannot be repaired quickly, the journey continues without interruption. A fully prepared spare classic car accompanies the rally throughout the entire route. In such cases, the participant continues the day’s drive in the spare vehicle, ensuring the experience is never cut short.
Meanwhile, our technical team works to repair the original car as soon as possible. Regardless of the issue, the vehicle is serviced and made road-ready by the evening whenever feasible, allowing the participant to rejoin the rally in their own car the following day.
Throughout the entire rally, luggage handling is seamlessly taken care of by our team. A dedicated luggage vehicle accompanies the rally, allowing participants to travel light and focus fully on the drive. Each morning, luggage is collected directly from your hotel room and transported to the next destination, where it is delivered to your room before your arrival.
This carefully coordinated service ensures a smooth, comfortable, and uninterrupted rally experience from start to finish.
Heritage Rally goes far beyond the traditional rally format. What truly sets us apart is our focus on the complete journey—not just the drive itself. Each rally is carefully designed as a sequence of distinctive experiences, combining exceptional routes with thoughtfully curated moments throughout the day.
Lunch may take place in the heart of a breathtaking natural setting or within a culturally rich location with a unique atmosphere, offering participants the chance to pause, connect, and fully immerse themselves in their surroundings before continuing the drive. Evenings are equally considered, often unfolding as culturally themed dinners or concept-driven gatherings that celebrate the spirit, heritage, and character of the region.
Combined with tailor-made routes, carefully selected accommodations, seamless logistics, and concierge-level support throughout the rally, Heritage Rally delivers a refined, immersive classic car rally experience unlike any other.
Vehicle shipping is not included in the rally fee, as our participants join us from all over the world. However, Heritage Rally provides dedicated support throughout the entire transport process.
Accommodations are carefully selected to reflect the character and heritage of each destination. Depending on the location, this may include boutique hotels, heritage properties, or high-quality regional hotels, all chosen for their comfort, atmosphere, and sense of place.
Participants are required to have a full comprehensive insurance policy for their vehicle covering the duration of the rally. This can be arranged through your own insurance provider, or our team can assist you in connecting with a suitable broker if needed.
In addition, Heritage Rally arranges local third-party liability insurance for all participating vehicles where applicable. All participants are also covered by a dedicated evacuation insurance, ensuring additional safety and peace of mind throughout the journey.
Participants are not required to carry spare parts or tools. Our professional technical team and support vehicles travel with the rally and are equipped to handle common mechanical issues. Of course, participants may bring specific spare parts for their own vehicle if they wish.
